DREAM CATCHERS

A Trailer video for Dream Catchers, a cooperative board game by Play Nation Studios. 

 

With the story and visuals in mind, we felt that an orchestral piece would best fit the video. The strings help in creating suspense when the creatures appear and together with the brass, percussion and big drums, we’re able to bring out the epic and heroic feel as the battle between the dragon and fairies take place. 

 

For the sound design, some interesting things that we did was to design the sounds for the laser and shield orb. They were created using synthesisers and then layered to achieve the current sound as heard in the video.
